The 'Report Centre' allows you to manage all reports and templates for a single company or group. You will have access to:

  1. Reports - These are Fathom's customisable reports, which allow you to build professional and beautiful looking reports easily (view a sample report)
  2. Templates - Save your favourite reports as templates to easily re-use them for future periods.
  3. Scheduled Reports - Once you've created a custom template, schedule a report to be created automatically.
  4. Excel Reports - Download a range of default Excel reports.

You can access the Report Centre from the 'My Companies' screen in Fathom. Hover your mouse over a company or group, and click the 'Reports' icon.

If you only have a single company uploaded to Fathom, click the large 'Reports' tile location below your company.

Workflow

The Report Centre has an inbuilt workflow to streamline management reporting. 

Report Crafting

When creating a report, the recommended workflow is to start by creating a 'draft' report from a predefined template. While in 'draft', you can collaborate together with other editors to craft the perfect report.

Publishing

When a report is ready to share with clients or 'viewers', then the report can then be published.

Once a report is published, it will remain 'unlocked', so that any subsequent changes to financial and non-financial data are reflected in the report.

Scaling and Automating

When the report has been customised, it can be saved for future use as a template. A template can then be scheduled to automatically generate reports at specified time periods. 

Templates allow you to efficiently create reports for groups of clients. For example, as an advisor you can design a report tailored for clients which operate in a specific industry vertical (ie. pharmacy stores). This template can then be used to create reports for these clients.
