Your company’s profile

In 'Step 2: Company Profile', you can set the default rates (i.e. tax rate, interest rate and cost of capital) for your company. These default rates will be factored into a few specific default KPIs, and can be added as variables in any custom KPIs you create.

Additionally, if you are planning to benchmark this company against other companies you connect to your Fathom account, you can specify some profile information for each company. This allows for segmentation of companies by some fixed criteria.

Adding a company logo

You can add a company specific logo by clicking the 'Add Logo' button. You can then include this logo in reports for this company.

For more detailed information on this please see: 'Adding your logo to Fathom'

Editing a company name

If required, you can edit the company name for this entity. This is useful, if you wish to change the presentation of the company name in the reports.

Changing a company's currency

Under the heading 'Default Rates', you can change the company's currency symbol that appears in the analysis tools, forecasting, online reporting and in all downloaded PDF reports.

Note: Changing the currency of a single company will not perform any FX translation to existing results. The numbers will stay the same - it will simply change the currency that the company's results are reported in.

For more information on the currencies available, view our dedicated help article on Supported Currencies.
