Start a trial

The first step in starting a subscription is to sign up for a free 14 day trial of Fathom.

The trial is fully functional, and no billing information is required. You can add data from as many companies as you want, invite unlimited users, and generate as many reports as you need.

We also provide a demo company to view our analysis, reports, and forecasting tools without importing your own data. This demo company can be found at the bottom of the 'My Companies' page or the main Fathom home screen.

💡Smart Tip: While the demo company provides insight into how some of Fathom's features work, not all features are shown in the demo company, and the Forecasting area of the demo company is limited in functionality. You'll get the best idea of Fathom and its features by importing your own data.

Sign up for a paid plan

Our monthly subscription plans allow you to continue using Fathom beyond the 14-day free trial. Our plans are based on the number of company files you've imported. All plans include unlimited users.

You can sign up for a subscription anytime during or after your trial. Our subscriptions are automatically renewed every month, so you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan(s) at any time.

To sign up, first log in to your Fathom trial account. Once logged in:

Click the Cog/Gear icon in the top right corner on the black bar of the 'My Companies' page
From the drop-down menu, select Account/Billing
Under the Account tab, click Select a plan
1. While selecting your plans, you can view the cost breakdown by clicking that option on the left sidebar.
  
  📝 Note: Before subscribing, you will want to upgrade or downgrade your companies so each company’s plan type reflects the features you want to use. Any Fathom Pro companies will be billed on a Fathom Pro plan; any Portfolio companies will be billed on a Portfolio plan.
Add debit/credit card details and review terms of service. Select Next.
1. Depending on your country, you may need to enter tax details as well.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I sign up for only one plan?

While you need to make a selection for both plan types, you have the option to only select one paid plan.

If you only have Fathom Pro companies imported into your account, then you can sign up for only a Fathom Pro plan. To do this, you would select the ‘None’ plan under ‘Portfolio’ when subscribing.

If you only have Portfolio companies imported into your account, then you can sign up for only a Portfolio plan. To do this, you would select ‘Portfolio only’ plan under ‘Fathom Pro’ when subscribing.

Is each plan billed separately?

The Fathom Pro and Portfolio plans are separate line items on the same monthly invoice. Your monthly invoice will reflect the total cost of your monthly subscription.

Companies imported as or upgraded to Fathom Pro will count towards your Fathom Pro company count and be billed as part of a Fathom Pro plan. Companies imported as or downgraded to Portfolio will count towards your Portfolio company count and be billed as part of a Portfolio plan.

Can I pay by bank transfer or PayPal?

We currently only accept payment via debit or credit card and don't offer other payment options, such as bank transfer or PayPal.

Can I pay on a Quarterly or Annual basis?

Right now, all of our subscriptions are monthly. We don't currently offer other payment frequencies, such as quarterly or annual subscriptions.

Why don’t you ask for the 3-digit CVV on the back of the card?

Because Fathom is a recurring subscription instead of a one-off payment, we do not ask for the CVV or Card Verification Value. This should not cause any issues with your subscription payment.

Following PCI (Payment Card Industry) standards, we are not able to store the CVV. These standards make CVVs more secure and help reduce the risk of fraud. For more information on CVVs, you can review this article.
