Learn how to update your debit/credit card details in Fathom to continue your subscription

Signing up for the first time

When signing up for a subscription to Fathom for the first time, you are required to input your debit/credit card details on the signup page.

Fathom uses these debit/credit card details to automatically continue your subscription on a monthly basis based on your current subscription plan.

The user who signs up for the Fathom subscription automatically becomes the Fathom Account Owner. There can only be one account owner per Fathom account.

Managing your billing details

Common reasons that would require you to change these billing details in your Fathom account can include:

  • Your credit card has expired

  • You need to change the credit card being billed

  • The Fathom account has changed ownership

πŸ“Note: Only the Fathom Account Owner can access the Account/Billing details for the Fathom organisation.

If you need to update the card details in your Fathom account for any reason:

❗Notice: If your Account/Billing page does not look like this, please see this article. We are slowly releasing a new version of our Account/Billing page, and you're likely on the other version. Both versions are secure and enable you to change your billing details.

  1. From the 'My Companies' page, click on the 'Cog/Gear' icon in the top right corner on the black bar

  2. Choose 'Account/Billing'

  3. Change the card details
    ​
    πŸ“Note: If your card has expired and has the same card number, but a new expiration date, you will still need to delete and re-enter the entire number to update the card.

  4. Select 'Save Changes'
