How do I hide rows with nil or zero values?

You can format your forecast or financial statement to only show accounts with values

Why would you hide rows without values?

You may want to limit distractions as you're forecasting or streamline your reporting.

You can hide from view all accounts with only zero values in:

Hide nil rows in your forecast

To hide unused accounts as you're building your forecast, you have the option to hide rows or accounts with nil values. You can easily turn off this option to view these accounts again.


​To hide accounts in your forecast with nil balances:

  1. Go to the forecasting main grid

  2. In the upper right corner of the forecasting grid, click on the Three Stacked Lines with Dots icon

  3. In the menu that opens on the right, turn on the option to hide rows with nil balances

Hide nil rows in a financial statement in a report

You can edit a Financials or Financial Trends table in a Pro report to hide rows or line items with all 0 values.

To hide zero-value line items in a financial statement:

  1. Double-click a Financials Table or Financial Trends table in a Pro report.

  2. In the menu that opens on the right, select Rows.

  3. Check the box for 'Hide accounts with nil balances'.

  4. Save changes

Line items must have 0 values for all periods in the table to be hidden. If any periods have non-zero values, the row will remain in the table.

📝 Note: If you want to hide a row in a KPI or KPI Trends table, you can edit the table to remove the rows.
