Starting a trial
The first step in starting a subscription is to sign up for a free 14 day trial of Fathom.
The trial is fully functional, and no billing information is required. You can add data from as many companies as you want, invite unlimited users, and generate as many reports as you need.
We'll also provide you with a demo company that you can use to view our analysis tools and reports without having to import your own data. This demo company can be found at the bottom of the 'My Companies' page or the main Fathom home screen.
If you like Fathom and wish to continue using it past the 14 days, you can go ahead and sign up for a paid subscription.
Signing up for a paid plan
Our monthly subscriptions allow you to continue to use Fathom past the 14 day free trial. Our plans are based on the number of company files that you're importing - for more detail on our pricing plans, view them on our Pricing Page.
You can sign up for a subscription at any time during or after your trial. Our subscriptions are automatically renewed on a monthly basis, so you're able to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your account at any time.
To sign up, first log in to your Fathom trial account. Once logged in:
❗Notice: If your Account/Billing page does not look like this, please see this article. We are slowly releasing a new version of our Account/Billing page, and you're likely on the other version. Both versions are secure and enable you to sign up for a subscription.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can I pay by bank transfer or PayPal?
Right now, we only accept payment via debit or credit card. We currently don't provide other payment options such as bank transfer or PayPal.
Can I pay on a Quarterly or Annual basis?
Right now, all of our subscriptions are on a monthly basis. We don't currently provide other payment frequencies, such as quarterly or annual subscriptions.
Why don’t you ask for the 3-digit CVV on the back of the card?
Because Fathom is a recurring subscription instead of a one-off payment, we do not ask for the CVV or Card Verification Value. This should not cause any issues with your subscription payment.
Following PCI (Payment Card Industry) standards, we are not able to store the CVV. These standards make CVVs more secure and help reduce the risk of fraud. For more information on CVVs, you can review this article.
