Price Change FAQs 2026

Common questions about Fathom's pricing increase

When does the new pricing take effect?

This pricing will apply to new customers from 1 August 2026. Existing customers will not be impacted until 1 September 2026. The new pricing will take effect on the date of your billing cycle.

Why are you increasing prices?

We have a regular pricing review to ensure we continue to provide the latest product innovations and a best-in-class customer experience. Since Fathom's last price increase a year ago, we've rolled out over 45 product enhancements, including uploading external images and PDFs to reports, forecast snapshots and Actuals vs Budget vs Forecast reporting, the report Commentary Writer tool, division-level detail in consolidated groups, and several enhancements to both Forecasting and the Insights Dashboard.

Where else can I go to get information on this change?

In addition to this FAQ page, all Fathom account holders will be informed of these changes via email. As always, you can contact your account manager or reply to the notification email, and our customer support team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Is there any way I can lock in my current price?

Existing customer pricing will not change until your September billing date, at which point you will be rolled over to the new pricing model.

To lock in your current price, you can be transitioned to an annual contract before you're rolled over to the new price. This will lock in your current price for 12 months. To discuss annual contracts, reach out to your Account Manager via email:

Can I change my plan?

Yes, you can downgrade or upgrade your subscription at any time. Please note that the new pricing will apply to any changes that occur from 1 August 2026. Simply visit the Account / Billing section of your account to view or change your current plan.

If you have several companies or clients in Fathom, you may also consider downgrading individual companies or clients to Portfolio. This will potentially allow you to keep all of your companies or clients on Fathom while moving to a less costly Fathom Pro plan. Companies on a Portfolio plan will have fewer features, but their performance can still be tracked on the Insights Dashboard, and you can create summary reports for them (Learn more about the differences between Fathom Pro and Portfolio).

Is pricing changing for both Fathom Pro and Portfolio plans?

Yes. Pricing is changing for both plan types. Portfolio still enables you to have multiple companies in Fathom at a lower price point than Fathom Pro.

I'm on a custom plan - how will price changes affect me?

If you are on a custom plan, there will be no changes until 1 November 2026. Your Account Manager will be reaching out to discuss your custom plan with you. We encourage customers to contact us with any specific questions about this. If you are on an annual contract plan, your pricing will not change.

I just signed up - will my price increase?

Current customers who subscribed between 1 July 2026 and 31 July 2026 will have a small grace period, with new pricing starting on 1 November 2026.
