User Management

From 'User Management', you can share access to Fathom's analysis and reports with other users. Other users may include your colleagues, staff, board members, investors, and/or clients.

To share access, a person must first be added to your Fathom organisation. To invite a person to be a user in your Fathom organisation, send them an invitation. Only 'Admin' users are able to invite other users into Fathom.

πŸ“Note: Admin-level users are able to access all companies and groups within a Fathom organisation or account.

Managing which companies a user can access

An administrator user from your organisation has the permission to view and manage users and their associated user permissions. To do this:

  1. Login to your Fathom account

  2. Select the 'Cog/Gear' icon from the black bar in the top right corner

  3. Select 'User Management'

  4. Click 'Edit' next to a user

  5. To share access to a company or group, select the company or gorup from the applicable dropdown menu. To revoke access, simply click 'Remove Access'.

πŸ’‘Pro Tip: To control not only which companies or groups a user can access, but also which areas of the platform a user can access, you'll want to select the right role for the user. You may even want to use the Advanced User Permissions to further tailor their access.

Share access with all users

You can also share access to a company from the 'My Companies' screen.

  1. Select the 'Three dots' icon at the end of the company row

  2. Click 'Share'

  3. Select a user to share the company or group with from the dropdown menu

    1. You also have the option to share the company or group with all users or to remove access for all users on a Fathom account.
