When does the new pricing take effect?
This pricing will apply to new customers from 1 April 2025. Existing customers will not be impacted until 1 May 2025. The new pricing will take effect on the date of your billing cycle.
Why are you increasing prices?
We have a regular pricing review to ensure we continue to provide the latest product innovations and a best-in-class customer experience. Since Fathom's last price increase a year ago, we've rolled out over 40 product enhancements, including accounts receivable and accounts payable reporting, bulk updates and the Insights Dashboard. We’ve also achieved ISO27001 and SOC2 certification and expanded our customer support team to provide you with even better service.
My costs are already high. Why are you doing this in a time of high inflation?
Like many businesses, we’re feeling the impact of global inflation, including the rising costs of attracting, training, and retaining top talent. Maintaining the high standard of service you expect from Fathom remains our priority, and we’re committed to upholding it.
Where else can I go to get information on this change?
In addition to this FAQ page, all Fathom account holders will be informed of these changes via email. As always, you can contact your account manager or reply to the notification email, and our customer support team will get back to you as soon as possible.
I’m a current Fathom customer. What do I need to know about the price change?
Existing customer pricing will not change until your May billing date, at which point you will be rolled over to the new pricing model.
Can I change my plan?
Yes, you can downgrade or upgrade your subscription at any time. Please note that the new pricing will apply to any changes that occur from 1 April 2025. Simply visit the Account / Billing section of your account to view or change your current plan.
I'm on a custom plan - how will price changes affect me?
If you are on a custom plan, there will be no changes until 1 May 2025. After this date, the new pricing will take effect. We encourage customers to contact us with any specific questions about this. If you are on a contracted plan, your pricing will not change.
Is pricing changing for your other plans?
We are only changing pricing for Fathom Pro. Our new Portfolio plan is not changing price, nor is our custom branding pricing.
I'm currently on a trial, but haven't signed up yet. What about me?
Customers on a trial have not yet committed to pricing. This means that if you subscribe to a Fathom plan after 1 April, you will be on the new pricing model. If you subscribe before, you will be on the current prices until May.
