When does the new pricing take effect?
This pricing will apply to new customers from September 8th, 2022. Existing customers will not be impacted until December 1st, 2022.
Why are you increasing prices?
We have a regular pricing review to ensure we continue to provide the latest product innovations and a best-in-class customer experience. Since Fathom's last price increase two years ago, we’ve launched three-way cash flow forecasting, a Google Sheets integration and over 60 product enhancements. We’ve also doubled the size of our customer facing team so that we can better support you in the work you do.
Is this related to the recent acquisition of Fathom by The Access Group?
The price change is not related to our recent acquisition by The Access Group. We typically review our prices biannually in September and this change has been planned for several months.
My costs are already high. Why are you doing this in a time of heavy inflation?
Unfortunately, no one is immune from the global inflationary pressures everyone is currently experiencing. That includes us here at Fathom, experiencing a rising price of attracting, training and retaining the best possible talent to give our customers the best-in-class experience they’ve come to expect from Fathom. We believe that this standard of service from Fathom must be upheld.
Where else can I go to get information on this change?
In addition to this FAQ page, all Fathom account holders will be informed of these changes via email on September 1st, 2022. There will be a follow-up email in November to remind you of the changes. As always, you can reply to those emails and our customer support team will be happy to help with your questions.
I’m a current Fathom customer. What do I need to know about the price change?
Existing customer pricing will not change until December 1st 2022, at which point you will be rolled over to the new pricing model on your usual monthly billing date.
Can customers change their plan?
Yes, you can downgrade or upgrade your subscription at any time. Please note that the new pricing will apply to any changes that occur from September 8th, 2022. Simply visit the Account / Billing section of your account to view or change your current plan.
What about customers on a custom plan – how will the price changes affect them?
If you are on a custom plan, there will be no changes until December 1st, 2022. After this date, the new pricing will take effect. We encourage customers to contact us if they have any specific questions about this.
I’m a customer already on a trial, but I haven’t signed up yet. What about me?
Customers on a trial have not yet committed to pricing. This means that if you subscribe after 8 September, you will be on the new pricing model.
