Invite others and share access to Fathom with your team members or clients

Limits & restrictions

There are no per-user fees in Fathom, so you can share access with as many team members and clients as you wish.

Only an 'Administrator' user from your organisation is able to invite other people into a Fathom account.

💡Pro Tip: If you're an Admin-level user on a Fathom account, you can follow this in-app tour to invite a user into your account. It will take you exactly where you need to go. Launch Invite User Tour

How to invite others

To invite another person into your Fathom account:

  1. Select the 'Cog/Gear' icon on the black bar in the top right corner of the 'My Companies' page

  2. Select 'User Management' from the drop-down menu

  3. Click the green '+ Invite a person' button in the upper right corner

  4. Fill out their details and click 'Next'.

    💡 Pro Tip: You have the option to write a personal note when sending out an invitation to join Fathom. Please note that links cannot be included in the invite note.

  5. Select a role for the user. Click 'Next'.

    📝 Note: You are able to have multiple admin users for one Fathom account. There can be only one account owner.

  6. To tailor the new user's role further, toggle on/off the Advanced Permissions. Click on a feature to reveal the Advanced Permissions options for that feature. Click 'Next'.

    📝 Note: The advanced user permissions are additional settings and are not allowed to conflict with the permissions associated with the assigned user role. For example, you cannot prevent an ‘Advisor/Editor’ user from editing the settings of a company.

  7. Toggle on/off a company or group to provide or restrict access to that company or group. Click 'Next'.

  8. Review the invite. You can return to the previous steps to make changes or click 'Send Invite.'

The person you've invited will be sent an email invitation. They can specify their own secure password and access Fathom.
